Fiji blue VS redline orange civic Si? which do you think looks better? pics >
King Tut replied: "Blue... no doubt"

Jason M replied: "I like Fiji blue."

koikaze replied: "BLACK!"

Honda Servant replied: "If you are going with new the Redline is nicer in person then in pictures. The Fiji Blue is no longer available they changed to Dyno Blue and it is nothing like the Fiji. Both Dyno and Redline are new so you may be the first to have it."

07 honda civic Si insurance? hello peps...i hav a 07 honda civic Si coupe and its red T_T..actually its kinda dark orange...i was wondering how much do i hav to pay for the insurance for it...we hav 3 cars insured right now "NOT" including the civic yet...my dad plans to insure it with him as the primary driver cuz im still 19 and it will prolly make the price higher....

apropos92 replied: "the color doesn't determine the insurance value. Otherwise, the actual insurance amount will depend on your and your father's driving history, credit, other vehicles insured, the location where you live, the amount of accidents that occur in your area, etc. The insurance company will also take into consideration if the car is garaged, how far it will be driven, if it will be used for work purposes or only for personal use (school and work), what types of upgrades it has, what type of alarm system the car has, if it has anti-lock breaks, air bags, and other features. Your insurance premium might be as low as $400 per six months, or $2 to $3 thousand dollars per six months. It is impossible to give you even a rough estimate based on the information you gave."

? replied: "insurance rate depends on many factors like age, sex, place you live, car, model, driving habbits etc etc. The best way to know how much it's gonna cost you is to take online quote from insurance where you just have to punch in your zip and few details about you and car and you get no obligation quote in minutes. Take quote from 3-4 companies and compare the best for you on price, coverages. Donot forget to take student discount, good gpa score discount. you can read more from link"

car253 replied: "What your dad is doing is fine just so long as you are listed as a driver in the household. And, make sure your dad's auto insurance policy has "permissive use" on it too. Permissive use allows you to loan your car to others as long as you give them permission to drive. It covers the car and not just the driver."

2009 Honda Civic Si......sedan or coupe? Color suggestions? In my continuing quest to purchase my new car, I have decided for a number of reasons that I like the Honda Civic Si the best. However, I'm not sure if I should get the sedan or coupe? If so, which color do you like best? I drive a white sedan right now. I like the style statement of the coupe. I'm 21, so I don't need tons of practicality. I also really like that Redline Orange Pearl color. What do you think? Suggestions? Comments? Thanks so much ya'll!

Joe replied: "The coupe is definitely more sporty and in my opinoin sexier look. If i was getting a si then i'd get the the coupe because the si is sporty as it is and i'd keep going with that look. a sedan would be nice if you're driving people around a lot, friends or whatever because the coupe is a pain to get in and out of, especially if you're big. but i would still get the coupe because it just looks so much nicer and you'll get a lot more looks driving a coupe. the redline orange pearl is pretty cool, not many cars that color, so once again if you want to get attention and have a cool car, get the orange. otherwise i like either white or black on sports cars."

itsheidiyo replied: "The newer civic SI's are very nice. If you are gonna have people constantly getting in and out of the back seats, the sedan might be better, but if they'll hardly ever be used, then the coupe could work. Personally, I like the look of the coupe better, and I don't have a need for the back seats anyway. As far as colors go, the Redline Orange Pearl is a very beautiful color on that car. I also think that Crystal Black Pearl, and Taffeta White look good on them also. These cars are really nice, good choice!"

krazeericeboi54 replied: "i personally would get the Si sedan just cuz i need the convenience. im usually chauefering people around so 4 doors is easier to get in and out of. now colorwise, i like either the redline orange or the taffeta white...really nice colors."

what does the maintnence light on my cluster mean? Tune Up? i have a 2000 Honda Civic Si...help me out? It went from green to orange to red which i know is normal...i've hear that i just have to change out my spark plugs but i want to make sure thanx

honda guy replied: "it depends on the mileage on the car. The maintenance light comes on every 3,750 miles or so to notify you of the need for an oil change. Every 7500 miles you should be rotating your tires and cleaning and adjusting the brakes. Every 30,000 miles you change the spark plugs and adjust the valves and change your air filter (this is the "tune up) also change your cabin air filter every 2 years. every 45,000 change the brake fluid every 90,000 change the transmission fluid every 105,000 change the timing belt, water pump and coolant. so you can figure out from that matrix what your car is due for based on your mileage. hope that answers your question"

Ptiles replied: "that light comes on ever 7500 miles to remind you to do a maintenance... its nothing serious really..if it was a CEL or check engine light...take that serious because there is something wrong with your engine"

jose o replied: "It's a mechanical indicator to tell you that your car is nearing 7,500 miles and needs an oil and filter change if you haven't already done so along with other general maintenance checkups. If you've already done an oil and oil filter change to your car, you can reset the indicator yourself. If there is a key hole on your cluster next to the trip meter reset button, simply insert and push your car keys through the hole and the indicator will return to normal. Hope this helps!"

problem with cluster lights in 2002 honda civic si? i was installing a pioneer headunit in my civic. i ordered the adapter harness so i wouldnt have to cut wires and all that. on the adapter harness there are 2 orange wires. one for illumination and one for dimmer. on the headunit harness there is only one orange wire for illumination. i thought that they should both be attached to work. well that is not the case. i called crutchfield where i got the adapter harness from and they said usually the dimmer wire is not suppose to be used. so now instead of my whole cluster lighting up, only half of it does. also when the lights are turned on the climate control knobs are suppose to light up and so is the cruise control button and the mirror switch. they do not light up, only half of the gauge cluster does. a fuse blew and i replaced it and it blew again and now i think that a wire might be fried or something like that only im not sure. i am clueless as where to start or what to look for so any help would be great. i appreciate all the help i get. thanks.

DragonCrane replied: "i will be honest with you, it doesn't look good. Seeing as you what caused this problem i would say that you wouldn't technically inclined enough to fix it. the easiest for you to do is to just buy a replacement cluster to narrow down the things that it can't be and then see if you have same issue with the blown fuse. there's no one way to fix this so you best bet is start with the cluster and other affected devices and you may find the issue if pay close attention. Don't feel bad though, i had a kid with a Monte Carlo chop his factory plug off but cut wire into each other. Now his interior lights all flash incessantly when you put the fuse in and you can hear the relay for clicking like crazy so could have been worse."

BLUE_BLEEDING_HEART replied: "wow, i had the same problem. first of all you need to go back and rewire the whole thing from where you started till you finish. make sure no wires are exposed or touching. check fuses again and replace if needed. lastly your dimmer switch may need to be replaced. did you abs light come on and flicker at all? mine did and it had to be reset."

meejkoob replied: "sounds like you are pretty stressed about this. best thing to do is take out the harness and then see if it still does the same thing. after that you'll know what to do."

What's your favorite Honda? What is your favorite Honda vehicle? My personal favorites: 2007 Honda Civic Si Coupe in Orange and 1998-2002 (Pref. 2002) Honda Accord EX Sedan w/ Manual Trans

Todd L replied: "2000 Honda Civic Type R JDM or 99 Honda NSX for overall or 1999 Honda Prelude SH realistically."

justin h replied: "my personal favorites? the 88-91 honda prelude. possibly the best platform Honda ever put under a car...tho it really would have benefited from a better engine choice (the B-series in that car was not what the later B's would be). i've had 8 of them, all the trim options, and i've raced most of them...they are hard to beat for comfort, style, and power. I will admit, tho, I really like the old ones, as well. I love my N600s, and I really love my LN360...nobody knows what they are, and the right hand drive is always fun."

vwihc replied: "My favorite hondas look like these "

shawn f replied: "1990 crx si or the 1990 civic hatchback"

fishcake replied: "Here's my favorite"
