Changing Honda Ridgeline tires voids warranty? I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL. One of the many things I upgraded at the time of purchase was getting the chrome wheels. I think they are only 16", and they fit in the Michellin tires the dealer supplied. Can I put bigger tires and wheels without voiding my warranty? How big can I go and keep a tire that is still good in snow and rain? I think maybe up to 20", but I don't want low profile tires. Any suggestions for the exact model of tires would be appreciated.

But if your car breaks and the manufacturer can prove that the part is the cause of the problem then you have to pay. I would do a plus 2 inch rim size, 3 if the factory rim is quite small. So like a 18 or 19 inch rim will be fine, and the tire place can help you size. If you give me your factory tire size is i can tell you what would be best sizes."

My car is out of warranty anyways b/c it has 110k on it. I'd say stick with 20" or less for the rim size. You should probably get a 255/50/20 tire. I love toyo tires, and also kuhmo tires. check out tire rack :=&minSpeedRating=S&width=255%2F&autoModel=Ridgeline+RTL&vehicleSearch=true&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&speed_rating=S&speed_rating=T&speed_rating=U&speed_rating=H&speed_rating=V&speed_rating=Z&speed_rating=W&speed_rating=Y&speed_rating=%28Y%29&RunFlat=All&x=81&y=6"

I have a 2007 honda ridgeline at 120 km per hour down the highway i have a vibration tires all balanced honda? I own a 2007 Honda ridgeline, driving @ 120km/hr on the highway, I have a vibration in the steering wheel. All tires have been previously balanced. Honda dealership tells me that it is something I may have to live with. Do any Honda Ridgeline owners out there have this same problem? If you do, please reply. If the tires were bad or had anything wrong with them it should have showen up when they were balanced . I feel that it may be comming from the rack or maybe a tierod end . The honda dealership where I bought the truck tells me that I might have to live with it. This is the first honda I ever owned . Good impression for me by honda .Open for answers.

wonderboy n replied: "need to rotate tires and see if it goes away and also check wheel bearings ,suspension componetes"

Nikki replied: "okay, try rotating the tires, and it could be that you are not turning off theemergency brake. it's sounds stupid, but it just could be, also this is not a common problem, so have it checked out at a HONDA dealership, take a test drive with a helper person and show them, try it and have them test it too."

KiDD aka AP replied: "do what the person before me said and also check your tires, you could possibly have a bubble or lump in one of your tires"

warrantyvoider replied: "umm its a 2007 first guy, wheel bearings and suspension i can assure you is fine. the tires are either not balanced correctly and need to be checked again or a tire is out of round or has a flat spot. have them check it again and rotate them is your best bet."

corey i replied: "I have a 2007 honda ridgeline with 6,400 miles, and I can assure you thats not normal. I say go to another dealer and have them check your tires and balance them for you."

Steven S replied: "they should not viberate......may have a bad set of tires on there or other problems but they should not do that"

gerry m replied: "that is definitely not normal,i have been a Honda technician for may years and have seen this problem several times.most Honda dealer have a funky new tire balance that does match balancing with road force, have them match balance the tires and do road force, this will take the heavy point of the tire and the light point of the rim, they will index these points and break down the tire and turn the tire to match the light point of the rim, this will also show any non visible bad tire, there is a roller that comes down on the tire as its being balanced and puts approx 9000 pounds of pressure on tire, and measures any excessive internall run out that is not visible, anything above 40lbs of road force after this procedure is not normal, and the tire is no good, most bigger Honda dealer within any major city should have this machine and will know what you are talking about, good luck,Honda should cover that under warranty, especially if it has low kms, don't take no for an answer,go to customer relations"

Rockstar Rims on a Honda Ridgeline? i was just wondering if its possible to get rockstar rims on the Honda Ridgeline.... and if it was possible what size would look best id say 18". what do you guys think? and do i have to change the tire as well when i get rims?

0475839216 replied: "wow. that's interesting."

Sleep Tech replied: "Yeah bigger rims means bigger tire. The bigger the wheel gets.. The more expensive it gets. I think you should just keep your wheel size the same. It will still look good. But if your going for the wanna-be-gangster look sure get 18"+ wheels."

oo06 replied: "WHAT??? of course its possible... it would look like a beast 18" rims are perfect!!"

JesusFreak60 replied: "they make rims to fit everything. i would stick with 18" b/c they will look big on the ridgeline. my parents have a ridgeline and i believe that stock are 17 or 18" but anyways I recomend 18" chrome if not chrome go with 20" black. the black is much cheaper so you can either go bigger with the black or somewhat smaller with chrome. I adore the chrome though! my dream combo is 20" chrome rockstar with 35" mickey thompson baja bear claw (I own a Z71). I would recommend 33" tires for your truck"
